Santa Fe, New Mexico
Conron and Woods was hired to create the interiors for the new State Attorney General's office building near to the Bataan Building in the main Capital complex in Santa Fe, NM. The project grew to include a positive restoration to the adjacent Villagra Building, built in 1930 and out of use for some time.
Slated for Demolition.
Working with the building's Owner and with the state Historic Preservation office, a restoration was designed to renew the building while respecting the historic nature, and return it to active use. In the process, the building achieved the first LEED Gold certification in New Mexico.
