Historic Preservation

Working throughout New Mexico and in 26 other states, Conron & Woods has helped private and government clients to preserve their historically significant structures. Preservation work involves a unique combination of science and sensitivity, requiring meticulous documentation, decision-making, working with local approval entities, designing for code compliance, and in many cases, planning for on-going contemporary use. We have won several design awards for our work on historic landmarks such as the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe and most recently in 2015 for our Revitalization of Doña Ana Village in southern New Mexico.
